For a book over 400 pages this was surprisingly easy and quick to get through.

In a town of Duluth, Kerry McGrath and Rachel Deese couldn't be anymore different yet they have one thing in common, they are both missing.
The first 1/3 of this book was investigating into Rachels disappearance since she was the latest victim to go missing. Once a suspect is arrested we go into the 2/3 of the book where we follow the trial of this suspect and the battle between prosecution and the defence.
and in the third part of this book where now it's three years later, in Las Vegas where detective Serena Dial is called out to investigate a body of a girl who has been found dead. Seems totally unrelated to the first 2 parts of the book until they make a link that their dead girl is one of the missing girls from Duluth.

This book was filled with so many twists and shocks I was completely blind sighted by the end. However this is one of those books where you can tell it was published in 2006, because Serena was that beautiful detective where everyone has to mention that she could be a model, and Detective Jonathan is that hot male where every character just seems to swoon over him.
Honestly this book could do without all the romance and sex in it, otherwise a good book.
