           It's actually 4.5 stars for me. 

The reason for the .5 deduction was due to being a short read (still haven't gotten the hang of figuring the length of e-reads). I read novellas but I much rather have novels since with novellas you have to hurry the story along at such a rapid pace. 

I enjoyed the story of Caden and Shakara immensely! "Tempting Mr. Parker" reminded me of the Diana Palmer novels I love to read to this day with the age difference, the faux hate masking love, and the heroine being a virgin.

I am sucker for those alpha males that have found their one true love and they want the world to know - no matter what and when you add some hot loving, BONUS! Add a loving endearment such as "Baby Girl" and tragic pasts ... just reel me in now. This is why I love romance novels and the happily ever after!

What I found refreshing that even though the hero/heroine were of a different race it was not hashed about continually. It did figure into the conflict along with other factors. 

The only thing I would wish for this story is that the story were longer, so we could savor the ups and downs of Caden and Shakara's courtship and perhaps delve deeper. 

Ms. Hunt is very talented and I look forward to reading much more from her in the coming years!
