The BG version of this review: https://the-unusual-booklover.blogspo... Wow! Now I get why everyone adores Ishiguro!😍 I fell in love with his writing style - the descriptions helped me dive into the story and the simplistic yet powerful dialogues. Ishiguro really knows how to throw the reader in without any warnings or unnecessary explanations. Though a little confusing at first, this makes for a great reading experience. The whole story is told through memories, something typical for the author. However, here it's exciting because we're in Klara's thoughts. She's an incredibly advanced AI, programmed to help the child that chooses her. The thing that separates her from the rest of AFs is her ability to observe, which turns out to be why Josie noticed her. Slowly, with little mentions, the world, society and surroundings that contributed to the development of AFs are unfolded. And the thing that intrigued me the most - Ishiguro didn't decide to write about AI that freaks out and kills everyone. Instead, the author focused on human nature and cruelty. You should read this book! No matter whether you're looking for more sci-fi or more AI books or simply love Ishiguro's works, "Klara and The Sun" does NOT disappoint!
