I'm so confused on their relationship because I know that they are/will be a couple in the series - I guess I thought for some reason that they would be strangers at first lol

Lo swoops in behind me, his arms flying around my waist. He sets his chin on my shoulder, hunching over a little to counter my short height with his tall.

Tbh i don’t understand the plot of this book really, don’t get me wrong. I like it. I just don’t fully comprehend the thoughts behind their actions? Like this dude right here just met them and he’s already insinuating he’ll be back and “hang” with them or something?

This book was intense, and I read it in one sitting. I loved the complexity of the characters, and I'm excited to see their journey. I could tell this book was meant to be an opening to the characters, their world. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't like it. However, I understand that this book is an opening to the series, and that's why it was written this way. It did make me want to read the following books because it made me want to know what will happen next. I also can't wait to read about Rose and Connor, I think they're my favorite characters, and I hope their books don't disappoint.

I loved this book. lily and lo are 100% toxic, enablers, and not good for each other but boy oh boy do I love me some toxic angst. scratched an itch in my brain that I needed it to, and the plot twist blew my entire fucking mind. I didn’t see it coming at all

i love them sm, the reason behind loren’s addiction made me sad and lily’s addiction also i’ve never thought it would feel like that, but lilo is perfect for each other.

Took me a little bit mostly because I think that I wasn’t in the right headspace to read about addiction but I do have to say the main character Lily is very annoying. She’s very whiny I just I just didn’t like it. Maybe I read it again when I’m in the right headspace.

Loved it I just think Lilly was doing too much!! This book has great character build!! I may seem slow but it's worth every bit of detail?! I have it a 4 out of 5 because Lilly! But the added plot twist was amazing I didn't see it coming till I later on the book. I'm sure the others are better!!

I did like this book but it was not the best I have read. What makes me disappointed is the potential this book had, if the authors had read more upon addiction and written it better and more realistic it would be an easy five star. Because the addiction part wasn't consistent, Lo had the effects of alcohol when it fitted the story and Lily could pass from sex because she wanted to, sometimes... 

I will continue to read the series but I hope it improves because I felt the chemistry between them, the dialogue and the friend dynamik was really good. I will give it that I thought I had the ending figured out but I was wrong. 

I would recommend it as an easy read if you don't mind the unrealistic addiction part, but I would recommend so many more books before this one.

I really liked the book, but there were things about it which made me so mad and I wanted to throw the book against the wall. I read it in one sitting, so there was always something going on and I couldnt put it down.

Lily’s sex addiction felt realistic throughout the story, especially when she blacked out for days. But i’m never forgiving her for missing her own sisters fashion show when said sister told her about how anxious she was about it, even more so because she had just had sex before that. I liked her at first and truly pitied her however there was a point where she got selfish and i just couldn’t deal with her. Obviously i get where she’s coming from and that they’re both eo’s support system and only friend and idk what but it just ickes me because she KNEW how bad it got and ryke told her to stop him but she didn’t want to, just so he wouldn’t refrain from fucking her basically.

Lo’s character i disliked because of how much of an asshole he was to both lily and rose. First of all the way he used lily’s addiction against her and implicitly shamed her for it was annoying as fuck. And the way he spoke of rose (i know they have banter or whatever ) as if she was some animal or a monster felt very rhys to nesta in acosf to me , lily playing feyre and defending her was obviously a slay.

connor might be one of my favorites in the whole book because his character was just comical. Major ass kisser getting his ass kissed and helping a random girl he tutors find her alcoholic boyfriend ??? SIGN ME UP!! the way he was crushing so hard on rose lmaooooo. Also the lack of judgement towards both lo and lily when they’re addictions were revealed ??? pompous little shit best man fr!!! he’s such an annoying know it all i love him. THE “I’d rather take you, a beautiful, intelligent girl from Princeton” RIGHT AFTER HE SPOKE OF HER FAILING FASHION LINE HELLO????????????

THE DORM THING 💔💔💔💔💔. her acceptance and worry for her sisters is on another level i swear. The way she forgave lily after she went to fuck lo in a car instead of watching her show so fast??? I NEED HER AND CONNOR MEETING AND HIS POV WHEN HE HEARD ABOUT HER LATER ON!!!!
