Every fibre of my logic is willing me to hate this, to consider it a violation, but… is it a violation if I want him to reach up? Is it a violation if his dirty words are causing an uncontrollable throb between my legs?

I lift my knee and hit him in the crotch. Hard. As hard as I can.

His face contorts and his hands shoot out for me, but I duck and run past him.

Thanks for reminding me why I hate bully romances😶 he's already gone too far fro forgiveness but please go ahead and dig yourself a deeper grave

Not even ten pages in and she literally did nothing? Wtf😃 They never met, talked or even breathed near each other what could she have possibly done to make him this aggressive lol

I… I don’t even know what to say… This book was absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy.

Where do I even start? The sexual abuse? The bullying? The cringy quotes LMAO

it was very interesting and intriguing especially the plot/plot twist, i liked it a lot, i couldn't put the book down. 
i was definitely not expecting that twist on the end in a certain way bc i had my theories but i was not expecting THAT and the cliffhanger agh- i'm literally just passing here to write this and i am going to start the next book now. 

(i kinda feel nostalgic in a certain way reading this bc it makes me remember devil's night, i honestly can connect their characters) 

elsa and aiden agh damm loved them istg- 
it was kinda wild but i definitely enjoyed their characters, also my girl kim is my fav istg- i love her so so so much.

La cosa con este libro mejora bastante aunque sigue siendo una historia cliché. No obstante, es adictiva como el infierno. El personaje de Aiden me provoca desde rechazo hasta debilidad por él jajaja es una montaña rusa del carajo.

Es la típica trama de chico malo, chica buena, pero a los que nos gusta este cliché es difícil no caer intrigada por esta historia.

Deviant King is the first book in the trilogy that features this couple, but is technically book 2 in the series. This book is Aiden King and Elsa Quinn. I have to say I don't know what magic this author uses but this bully romance was just catnip, complex and I just couldn't seem to get enough of this one here. I absolutely devoured this book here. There is LOTS of angst, just warning y'all ahead of time. But somehow this author made it work for me. And all the dramatics, I was here for it though. And I normally don't do YA settings, but I loved it here. There is a lot of confusion on why Aiden treats Elsa the way she does, and you really need to read the whole trilogy to get the background on it, but whew he is intense. I adored our heroine, she is a badass. She stands on her own and is so delightful! I love that she is a fighter, and is willing to stand up to her bullies, no matter how they demean her, she has such a strong spirit and is a fighter and just what he needs to tone him down as he has such a fierce strong personality, but frankly, blame it on his dad haha 

I swept through Deviant King so quickly, and it was such an addictive read. Just make sure you have books 2 and 3 handy, as it does end with a cliffhanger. But its well done, but yeah its a doozie. Just fair warning on it. I really enjoyed the friendships and I am really curioius about Xander's story for sure, there is so much history for his story I bet.

Why did I read this book despite warning from other reviewers about Sexual Assault being involved! I like the way Rina writes. Its amazing the way she spins the web of story and I would have definitely loved this book on a like 4-4.5 star rating. But the multiple SA scene just brought this down so so low. 

I might try her other books though! She is honestly great at writing. Just the SA part really sucked!
