Diese Gespräche sind Auseinandersetzungen nicht nur mit der Gefährdung der Demokratie durch die Geheimdienste, dem wachsenden Überwachungsapparat und den zunehmenden Verletzungen der Pressefreiheit in den USA, sondern auch sehr persönliche Gespräche über das eigene Schicksal, den Kampf gegen eine Staatsmacht, die Pflicht zum Verrat. Parallel zu Angela Richters Theaterprojekt erscheinen die Gespräche erstmals in deutscher Sprache. "Die Avantgarde der Supernerds" hat am 28. Mai 2015 am Schauspiel Köln Premiere und wird gleichzeitig im WDR im Rahmen einer Sondersendung live übertragen. Dazu entsteht ein Dokumentarfilm, der anschließend ausgestrahlt wird.
