Der vorliegende Band befasst sich mit verschiedenen Migrantengruppen, die ihre akademischen Bildungstitel in die Arbeitsmärkte von Deutschland, Kanada, Türkei und Großbritannien einbringen. Er rekonstruiert mit qualitativen Methoden die Bildungs- und Berufserfolge der Kinder von Migranten ebenso wie die Chancen und Risiken, mit denen Akademiker/innen konfrontiert sind, die z.B. aufgrund von Partnerschaften, Jobangeboten oder als Flüchtlinge in ein Land kommen.
