Dale Carpenter is the Judge William Hawley Atwell Chair of Constitutional Law, Altshuler Distinguished Teaching Professor, and Professor of Law at SMU Dedman School of Law. He previously served as the Charles J. and Inez Wright Murray Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law at SMU. He teaches Constitutional Law I, Constitutional Law II, the First Amendment, and LGBT Rights and the Law.
