David Dollar is an American economist currently serving as a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution's John L. Thornton China Center and a consultant at the World Bank. His research focuses on economic reform in China and US-China economic relations. He hosts Brookings' "Dollar and Sense" trade podcast.
