David Warrell

Professor Sir David Alan Warrell is an English physician, clinical researcher, and teacher, specialising in Tropical Medicine. He is currently Emeritus Professor of Tropical Medicine and Honorary Fellow of St Cross College, University of Oxford. He was Founding Director of the Wellcome-Mahidol University, Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Programme, Thailand (1979–present), and Oxford Centre for Tropical Medicine (2001–present), and was Head of the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine (2002–2004).
