Fleur Pierets

De Belgische kunstenaar Fleur Pierets zou met haar partner Julian trouwen in alle 22 landen waar twee vrouwen dat mogen. De bedoeling was op een positieve manier gelijke huwelijksrechten onder de aandacht te brengen. De wereldpers hing aan de telefoon, Marina Abramovic stuurde hen gelukswensen. Maar de ?wereldtournee van de liefde? werd ruw onderbroken. Na hun vierde huwelijk, in Parijs, werd Julian gediagnosticeerd met agressieve hersentumoren. Ze stierf twee maanden later. Pierets bleef achter en kon maar één ding doen: schrijven. 0De Belgische Fleur Pierets en Nederlandse Julian P. Boom werkten als vrouwelijk kunstenaarsduo onder de naam JF. Pierets en maakten onder andere het tijdschrift 'Et Alors?'. 20 september 2017 gaven ze in New York de aftrap voor hun performance ?project 22?. Julian stierf op 22 januari 2018.
