The Illustrated Voice is the first book to examine and reveal, in great detail, the thinking process behind the creation of conceptual illustrations. Craig Frazier, its author, offers a unique perspective. He has had a 20-year career as an award-winning graphic designer, followed by a 7-year career as an internationally recognized illustrator. His point-of-view is from the trenches of contemporary illustration, backed with the knowledge and experience of the world of graphic design. The Illustrated Voice displays a substantial body of finished illustrations and preliminary sketches, organized by topics relating to theory, process and type of assignment.
