Dentifricetristesse crèmemiroir (2011) est le dixième recueil de poèmes de Kim Hyesoon. L'univers de Kim est notamment reconnu pour son imagination débordante et insolite, sa sensibilité exceptionnelle au langage et son refus constant de la répétition. Le présent ouvrage comprend quarante-quatre poèmes - un poème en prose inclus. Là prennent corps des images puissantes, un discours imaginaire et une sorte de fête du langage original. La poésie de Kim, devenue une des forces motrices de la poésie coréenne depuis 1980, transgresse de nouveau la hiérarchie des arts et s'oppose à la voix despotique qui réprime la vie et ses désirs, en laissant respirer tous nos sens. Kim refuse constamment les règles habituelles de la grammaire et du langage. Dans son expérimentation formelle, elle rejette la structure syntaxique et les rapports entre le sujet et le prédicat afin de déstabiliser le lecteur et sa façon de penser.

Die Berliner Rede zur Poesie wird am 11. Juni 2023 von der südkoreanischen Lyrikerin Kim Hyesoon gehalten. Die Berliner Rede zur Poesie 2023 wird die 1955 in Uljin (Provinz Nord-Kyŏngsang) geborene Kim Hyesoon halten. Sie studierte koreanische Literatur und erlangte in den späten 90er Jahren große Bekanntheit. Ihr literarisches Debüt "Poet`Smoking a Cigarette" erschien 1979. Kims Virtuosität als Dichterin liegt in ihrer Fähigkeit, mit experimenteller Sprache einzigartige poetische Bilder zu schaffen und gleichzeitig ein tiefes Interesse am so genannten weiblichen Schreiben zu bewahren, das in weiblichen Erfahrungen und Seinsweisen wurzelt. Ihre zentralen, in den unkonventionellen Arbeiten verarbeiteten Themen sind sowohl die Emanzipation als auch das Streben nach Freiheit in der koreanischen Gesellschaft. Sie gehört zu den bekanntesten modernen Lyrikerinnen Koreas. Derzeit lehrt sie Kreatives Schreiben am Seoul Institute of the Arts.

General-purpose graphics processing units (GPGPU) have emerged as an important class of shared memory parallel processing architectures, with widespread deployment in every computer class from high-end supercomputers to embedded mobile platforms. Relative to more traditional multicore systems of today, GPGPUs have distinctly higher degrees of hardware multithreading (hundreds of hardware thread contexts vs. tens), a return to wide vector units (several tens vs. 1-10), memory architectures that deliver higher peak memory bandwidth (hundreds of gigabytes per second vs. tens), and smaller caches/scratchpad memories (less than 1 megabyte vs. 1-10 megabytes). In this book, we provide a high-level overview of current GPGPU architectures and programming models. We review the principles that are used in previous shared memory parallel platforms, focusing on recent results in both the theory and practice of parallel algorithms, and suggest a connection to GPGPU platforms. We aim to provide hints to architects about understanding algorithm aspect to GPGPU. We also provide detailed performance analysis and guide optimizations from high-level algorithms to low-level instruction level optimizations. As a case study, we use n-body particle simulations known as the fast multipole method (FMM) as an example. We also briefly survey the state-of-the-art in GPU performance analysis tools and techniques. Autobiographie de la mort est le douzième recueil de poèmes de Kim Hyesoon, publié en 2016 en Corée du Sud. Il est composé de quarante-neuf poèmes sur la mort correspondant aux quarante-neuf jours qui constituent la période de deuil dans le bouddhisme. "Quand j'écrivais les quarante-neuf poèmes de ce livre, j'étais gravement malade. La mort était devant, derrière et dans ma tête. Comme si je vivais dans les limbes, j'ai passé des jours dans une souffrance. (...) Y aurait-il quelque chose plus solitaire que la souffrance ? Plus solitaire que la mort ? Cet arbre ne me connaît pas. Cette pierre ne me connaît pas. Cette personne ne me connaît pas. Tu ne me connais pas. Je ne me connais pas non plus. Je voulais mourir avant que ma mort n'arrive".
