"The Mission" is a poetry book based on the May through August 2012 issues (and occasional Internet chapbook releases) of cc&d magazine (byline: "the UNreligious, NON-family oriented literary and at magazine," founded 1993, http: //scars.tv/ccd) into this poetry and prose (and very occasionally artwork), published by Scars Publications. "The Mission" was released not only as an "issues edition" (of the majority of the writings appearing in issues) and a "chapbooks edition" (of the chapbook releases during this period, plus select bonus writings from the issues). This issues edition contains a larger nmber of writers, and gives a better idea for the feel of the writings in issues of cc&d magazine. The cover art of this collection book was photographed in Chicago in 2011 (and the color was changed for different editions). This is a collection of about 80 traditional poems. I believe the themes are unusual, but I don't know. I haven't read many poems since Millay died. She had no successors.

Scattered Poems

But Matthew learns there is a price to pay when entering politics. His background is attacked by the media and demons of his past are resurrected. The attacks are instigated by Manny Contreras, 'The Voice,' whose goal is to turn Curaçao into an import-export hub of Colombian drugs for Europe and the U.S.The political campaign becomes ugly and ruins his love relationship. His private life and politics are inextricably linked, contributing to Matthew’s unraveling. As 'The Voice' does all he can to neutralize Matthew’s popularity, Matthew works with the police to end Manny’s drug career, even at great personal cost.Almost in the manner of Balzac, Joseph Hart presents a cross-section of Curaçao, from the most wretched and impoverished of its citizens to the most powerful and corrupt of its politicians. Election Dance

This is a collection of fifty poems on various subjects, some plain, some sardonic. Some of them rhyme, and hopefully (with three exceptions) they all have meter or rhythm. I hope the title is wrong.

Bland and Mediocre Poems

Ernesto "Che" Guevara—medical doctor, chess player (he played Bobby Fischer by telephone in 1963), motorcycle rider, president of the Cuban National Bank, ruthless killer—would have celebrated his seventy-fifth birthday this June 14, had he lived. Instead, he was executed in the Bolivian jungle, captured leading a quixotic insurgency, a canonizing death that produced one of the era's most enduring plaster saints and symbols of revolutionary yearning. He has since been venerated and reviled in dozens of biographies, memoirs, essays, and films. This most photogenic of all revolutionaries (himself a photographer) was also obsessively shot by Fidel's court photographers —the serendipitous snap by Korda became the most reproduced photo of the age—from the Sierra Maestra to the Congo. Che was a prolific writer, too; and from his youthful Motorcycle Diaries, through nine volumes of essays and speeches, to the journal of his fatal Bolivian adventure, Che as much wrote the revolution as lived it.
