This book provides a comprehensive guide to all three volumes of Karl Marx’s ‘Capital’, with advice on further reading and points for further discussion. For many years the author has wondered about John the Baptist, who makes an appearance at the time of his birth and then seems to be missing until the actual baptism of Jesus. Soon after that he is taken prisoner and dies in a Roman Prison. He was related to Jesus, but the Biblical record seems to have nothing else to say about him.
