Over a decade after the great fire destoryed thier training grounds in Anconcagua, the scramble is on to find the hundreds of well-trained assassins, scattered all over the globe now trying to fit into a society that had abandoned them as orphans. The only problem is father isn't the only one looking for them, and those who are caught in the chase are slowly starting to realize that it goes a lot deeper then just mercenary missions. As they fight to slow down Dr. McClain's growing power, they learn that it has spilled into the halls of the United States Capitol, leading them to start looking for answers in foreign places. A drifter with a talent for stealing and driving cars proves to be more difficult to track down than they thought, causing them a major setback in the cleansing project. Vance's core is shaken and tested as the volume is turned up on the fight for Vanadium supremacy.

Vance and Garrett continue to hunt down their fellow Anconcagua brothers and sisters as the political stakes continue to rise with Vitaly and Dr. McClain pulling strings on Capitol Hill in the United States. In Master Hiang's relentless slaughter of his brothers and sisters, Vance starts to question their motives wondering if they are on the right side of the Vanadium war. While Vance's mind continues to wave back and forth on his place in the battle, everyone he loves continues to find themselves in danger. Good and bad haven't settled in this dust storm of Vanadium supremacy, but either way, bullets will continue to fly.
