Darin berichtet sie über die Entdeckung einer zwanzig Jahre alten psychologischen Untersuchung, die behauptet, ein einfacher Fragebogen könne zwei wildfremde Menschen dazu bringen, sich ineinander zu verlieben. Sie beschreibt, wie sie diese 36 Fragen eines Sommerabends mit einem Bekannten durchspielt und dieser später ihr Lebenspartner wird. Die Reaktionen übertrafen alle Erwartungen: Wenige Stunden nachdem die Redaktion den Artikel ins Netz gestellt hatte, verbreitete er sich viral. Sie sah Filme, hörte Popsongs und las Sonette. Sie befragte ihre Großeltern und Eltern, sprach mit Freunden und lieh sich Ehe- und Beziehungsratgeber aus der Bücherei aus. Ihre Einsichten und Überlegungen hat sie nun in diesem liebevollen Memoire zusammengetragen.
