Wahrheitstheorien sind ein zentraler Bestandteil von Davidsons semantischem Programm zur Erklärung von Interpretation. Deflationäre Wahrheitskonzeptionen hingegen schreiben dem Wahrheitsprädikat eine minimale explanatorische Funktion zu. Die Frage der Vereinbarkeit dieser beiden Positionen bildet den Kern dieser Untersuchung. Eine Antwort wird durch eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit Unvereinbarkeitsargumenten und durch eine systematische Betrachtung der Funktion eines deflationären Wahrheitsprädikats anhand von axiomatischen Wahrheitstheorien gegeben. Letztlich wird dafür argumentiert, dass nichts gegen die fruchtbare Anwendbarkeit einer deflationären Wahrheitstheorie innerhalb von Davidsons semantischem Programm spricht.

Essay aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Individuum, Gruppe, Gesellschaft, Note: 1,7, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Programm dieses Essays besteht aus der Darlegung von George Herbert Meads Erklärungen zur Herausbildung der subjektiven Identität im Zusammenspiel des Individuums mit der Gesellschaft. Diese ermöglicht es, die Bedeutung der im Titel erwähnten Perspektiv- beziehungsweise Rollenübernahme herauszustellen und zu erläutern. Die folgenden Inhalte basieren auf der als Meads Hauptwerk geltende Abhandlung "Mind, Self, and Society", welche allerdings posthum von seinem Schüler Charles W. Morris auf der Grundlage von Vorlesungsmitschriften zur Sozialpsychologie aus dem Jahr 1927 veröffentlicht wurde. Meads Ausführungen dienten zahlreichen sozialwissenschaftlichen Schulen wie dem Symbolischen Interaktionismus und Garfinkels Ethnomethodologie als Inspiration, sodass eine etwaige Auseinandersetzung damit als unerlässlich scheint, um einen wichtigen Strang soziologischer Theoriebildung historisch nachvollziehen zu können. Zunächst folgt eine knappe Zusammenfassung dessen, worüber Mead im erwähnten Schlüsselwerk referiert, um die anschließende Beantwortung der Ausgangsfrage möglichst schlüssig darstellen zu können. Wie der entsprechende Untertitel "From the Standpoint of a Social Behaviorist" verrät, sah sich Mead als Sozialbehaviorist, der damit an den zeitgenössischen, von John B. Watson geprägten Behaviorismus anschloss.

Der Zusammenhang von Facharbeit und beruflicher Bildung ist ein gesellschaftlich äußerst relevanter Problembereich, der in Deutschland noch immer über die Hälfte eines Altersjahrgangs berührt.
