I 2011 lancerede Kulturministeriet og Ministeriet for Børn og Undervisning Drengelitteraturprisen. Formålet med Drengelitteraturprisen er at styrke drengenes læselyst og få drenge på 4.-7. klassetrin til at læse mere. En række danske forfattere giver her deres bud på letlæselige historier til drengene. Historierne deltog alle i Drengelitteraturprisen 2013. Indeholder desuden vindernovellen fra 2012 Colosseum af Anika Eibe. I henhold til reglerne for deltagelse i Drengelitteraturprisen, bliver denne bog først frigivet d. 8. november 2013 efter prisoverrækkelsen på BogForum.
