"'Wasteband' é um espectáculo entre um ambiente de ficção científica e os 'encontros tupperware' onde tentaremos vender ao público o espectáculo do futuro. Uma performance virtual para um actor/astronauta, um músico, um power point e uma mesa elíptica onde se projectam verticalmente imagens vídeo e onde se reúnem à volta, sentados, espectadores e performers. Um kit interactivo sobre cada passo a tomar para viver uma performance virtual em casa, sem recorrer à tecnologia, mas mantendo uma lógica de links. O pano de fundo é reconstrução de um ritual chinês que prevê em cada ano um dia em que é possível a lua cair nos oceanos de acordo com probabilidades científicas. Politics and media are constantly dealing with the shifting definitions of facts, truth, reality, and fiction. Yet this is something the field of documentary art has been addressing for much longer.
