Sara Nomberg-Przytyk was a Polish Jewish writer, journalist, and Holocaust survivor. She is best known for her memoir Auschwitz: True Tales from a Grotesque Land (1985), which chronicles her experiences as a prisoner in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
