Spjut není žádná druhá Kerstin Ekmanová, ani stylisticky, ani obsahově, ale když si představíte, že jí sedí na rameni malý Stephen King v podobě hraboše a velí, kudy se mají prsty po klávesnici rozběhnout, budete mít docela dobré ponětí o tom, co tento Spjutův žánrově těžko uchopitelný román vlastně je. – Svenska Dagbladet
