De toute façon, elle n’a jamais été du genre à se laisser décourager par quelqu’un de grincheux. Mais ses plans s’écroulent lorsqu'un homme de son passé revient et fomente sa vengeance. Il n'est plus humain, et il la veut morte. Au final, ce n'est peut-être pas Cori qui va sauver Bartol, mais Bartol qui va devoir sauver Cori.
