Vira Aheieva

Vira Aheieva is a professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She is a Shevchenko Prize winner. She is a feminist who was one of the first in the post-Soviet era to speak about the need to revise patriarchal values. She is the author of the books "Women's Space: Feminist Discourse of Ukrainian Modernism", "The Poetics of Paradox: Intellectual Prose of Viktor Petrov-Domontovych", "Apology of Modernity: The Outline of the Twentieth Century", "Roads and Middle Crossroads", "Pattern on Stone.
