Fifteen young editors, mentored by children's author Tony Wilson and publishing industry professionals, put together a spine-chilling collection of stories on the theme of 'creepy horror'. The collection includes twelve hair-raising tales and poems written by young Australian writers between the ages of 8 to 12, alongside an original contribution by children's author Oliver Phommavanh, that Andy Griffiths describes as "A white knuckle rollercoaster ride of pure terror!" Program Details Every year, a panel of fifteen young editors, aged 8 to 12, are assembled to take part in 100 Story Building's Early Harvest publishing program. They select the theme of the book, commission cover art, and illustrations, curate the collection and make all the creative decisions involved in putting the book together. Throughout the process, they are guided by publishing industry professionals -- including authors, designers, artists, and marketing experts. This year, 100 Story Building facilitators and children's writer Tony Wilson mentored children from across Melbourne through school incursions on the intricacies of writing a truly creepy tale. One hundred and thirty of these young authors submitted finished stories for consideration. From these, the young editors selected the twelve best stories and rounded out the collection by commissioning Oliver Phommavanh to contribute his work. The Early Harvest program was launched in 2011. Since then, the associated publications have featured 116 young authors as well as Andy Griffiths, Terry Denton, Shaun Tan, Alice Pung, Sally Rippin, Maxine Beneba Clarke, Andrew McDonald, Davina Bell, and Morris Gleitzman.

It has been many years since any serious study of demon experiences has been published, and possibly never before a compilation from competent observers in many parts of the world. The reason for this omission is not clear, but the result has been a feeling on the part of many Christians that these strange (to us moderns) phenomena were only valid in Bible times. But if these things are in fact still going on today, the church should be aware of them; and if true in other lands, as indicated in this book, then a further study needs to be made of demonology here in the United States. Item: Could certain types of cases in mental hospitals be better relieved by prayer than by modern medical treatments? This subject needs study, research and experiment by Christian ministers, as well as secular medical experts. As to the truthfulness of the stories in this book, we believe that all are valid. Most of the missionaries and others reporting are known to us either personally, or by reputation, as being honest and not subject to hallucinations. That the incidents occurred seems indisputable. As to why they occurred, and what caused them- that is another question. On the surface there seems every evidence that strange spirits have seized and often spoken through their victims. Many of these incidents parallel those in the New Testament, where the cause is clearly stated as demon possession. Some who read these pages may wish to put forward other explanations than ones presented in this book, and discussion of these viewpoints should prove valuable. Tupac Shakur is not just a posthumous hip-hop icon. In the years since his September 1996 murder, he has attained a status that led some to coin him 'the Black Elvis'. More successful as a recording artist than at the active peak of his career, his posthumous albums continue to sell in massive quantities around the world. His cultural importance is reflected in a 'Tupac's not dead' myth - the first time a black performing artist has been mythologised on the level of a Presley or a James Dean.
