This book examines Asian American ethnicity and communication, looking at: immigration patterns, ethnic institutions, family patterns, and ethnic and cultural identities. William Gudykunst focuses on how communication is similar and different among Chinese Americans, Filipino Americans, Japanese Americans, Korean Americans, and Vietnamese Americans.
