I just started watching the anime and so obviously I also picked up the manga. It reminds me a lot of My Hero Academia, although semi-loosely. 

Also it's to blame for my temporary reading slump...though is it really a reading slump when all you can get yourself to read is Jujutsu Kaisen?

I really enjoyed that prequel volume! 
Getting to know the second years when they were still first years was really interesting. I can't wait to start reading the rest of the volumes!
PS: Toge Inumaki was serving us looks in that volume and idk it made me love him more! Maki too! Her story kind of makes me sad and I only want to see her succeed!（︶^︶）

My heart *cries*. I started reading these after adoring the anime and the manga has so many incredible details missed in the show! I love this backstory we got and the sides of Maki, panda and others that we got to see. The drawing style is so perfect that seeing motion is so clear and the storyline is a lot more easy to understand since it isn’t being dumped within the first 5 minutes of a show. I can’t wait to read more!
