hmm, i don't really get this one, this could be murakami's book i enjoy the least. giving 3 stars cause i can't give 2.5

Easy novella to read in one sitting, hard to believe that this is the first thing that Murakami wrote with no background in writing before.

Not his best. When I saw it in Audible, I figured it was new, but turns out it was early Murakami. It has the makings of what's to come, although no cats? And sex only gets a mention with no actual shagging or descriptions. But there is a well.
