After defining myself as a Given Devotee, Links fell so short. 

I know and have read my fair share of one-shots and one volume manga so I hope this experience serves as a good enough reason for me to be so harsh. As always let me proceed with bullet points:

-The stories as a whole weren't remarkable. Each fell like I put the x2 speed on YouTube. If this had be a two parter, with two couples for each volume, I feel the characters that can be deemed as boring and flat would have had a better chance to shine.
-The characters: it is quite clear as you are reading that the author wanted to arrive to the last story ASAP. And I get it. I understand you have favourite OCs that you want to dedcate more time into. Then again, make a one shot only about them. Develop them, because they both felt so bland, so self-serving and indulgent and completely out of touch. Let us know them better so we can more easily empathise
-The heterosexuality: how. How the hell do you have a whole character, who has been in a COMITTED RELATIONSHIP WITH ANOTHER MEN FOR ALMOST A DECADE be heterosexual. I'm all for diveristy and showcasing how sexuality is fluid but. Come on. What does the B in LGBT stand for, Bears?

That last one was what did it for me. The last nail on the coffin. As a bisexual enby person I felt inmensely disappointed, as we all know Given has two main characters who are bisexual, and proudly so. I think Kizu did their research and homework, because I can't explain such a drastic change from this to Given.
