10 Steps to Earning Awesome Grades (While Studying Less)

Thomas Frank2015
Becoming a more effective learner and boosting your productivity will help you earn better grades - but it'll also cut down on your study time. This is a short, meaty book that will guide you through ten steps to achieving those goals: Pay better attention in class, Take more effective notes, Get more out of your textbooks, Plan like a general, Build a better study environment, Fight entropy and stay organized, Defeat Procrastination, Study smarter, Write better papers, Make group projects suck less, Whether you're in college or high school, this book will probably help you. But not if you're a raccoon. I want to be very clear about that; if you're a raccoon, please buy a different book. This one will do absolutely nothing for you. How did you even learn to read, anyway?

This book offers great tips on studying and getting good grades, from paying attention in class, taking effective notes, to defeating procrastination, and making group work efficient. I would recommend this short book to every student out there who want to find a way to be smarter with their studying and actually enjoy the process of learning. The book also summarizes some topics that are covered in "How to Become a Straight-A Student" by Cal Newport, which I also read a while ago. In that book, Newport went deeper into each strategy that he suggested, which is something that Frank's book may not do as well. However, I really appreciate his sharing the organizing tips and other personal tips that have helped him throughout college and now into his career.

This eBook has been lying down online in my Google drive for a year before I decided to read it. Why did I delay lmao? It's an amazing book with awesome content and I love the wits. It's very practical for a student like me. Not reading this book would be a great loss.
