King of the Seven Lakes

Elen-ai, a member of the Family of Assassins, returns to the side of Gidyon, the first male ruler of the Second Country. Fighting to prove his worth, Elen-ai and Gidyon must navigate the fraught politics of the Second Country. As civil war becomes increasingly likely, Elen-ai must ask herself if she is an assassin, or friend to the king above all.
