It was so interesting learning about all the different shadowhunter/downworlder characters over the 100 years, information that wasn't necessarily added into the books. That is what I love about the shadowhunter chronicles- the extensive history and list of shadowhunter families that doesn't exist in many other series.

Dioses, este libro está lleno de curiosidades de los personajes y de ilustraciones hermosas. 
Me encantan las descripciones de los personajes, y hay un par de cosas que necesito ver en The Last Hours.

A beautiful companion to the Shadowhunter Chronicles. I loved the random tidbits and facts, and the character artwork is stunning. Definitely a nice collectible for fans of the Shadowhunter books. There are a few spoilers in it though so be wary if you’ve not read the final book in the Infernal Devices and somehow managed not to be spoiled already. 

I hope they do an updated version at some point with family trees because that would be excellent!

While Clare's books are not necessarily a favourite, I can't help but appreciate the way in which all of her stories intertwine with each other. This companion book is fantastic for understanding an overview of the characters throughout the Shadowhunter universe.

I'll admit, I did spoil myself a little, so if that's a concern for you, don't pick this up too early into the Chronicles. But if you have any type of investment in the books I absolutely recommend picking up this character guide.

Also the illustrations are GORGEOUS.
