Definitely wouldn’t call it a thriller. More of an investigation book which isn’t my cup of tea. It was my first completed book on audio tho.

Took a while to get invested in this story.  It seemed like some plot points were skipped to get to the action.  

I did enjoy the second half of the book better; story/dialogue was more interesting. 

1st book in a trilogy, have not decided if I will continue or not.

It's predictable in the sense I thought it'd be funny if her new partner turned out to also be a serial killer, and then he really was the killer. Not sure who I hate more; the killer, the serial killer ex-husband, or the garbage prosecutor that they fortunately tossed before the end.

Even though I figured out the twists, this book still held on to me. Loved it and am excited to see it might be part of a series!
