Cost of Repairs

Police officer Samuel Briggs is getting to know the people on his beat, but he'd prefer they not know too much bout his painful past that drove him away from New Mexico. He wants peace and a manageable routine so that he can fix up his project home, he doesn't have time for a relationship. Yet he finds himself attracted to a short-order cook who's flirty one minute and distracted the next. Rey King, part-time cook, part-time hardware salesman, and full-time handyman, also has no time for relationship, but one glance at Sam's haunted eyes goes straight to his heart.
