well this one is a bit of disappointment. or maybe my expectation was too high considering how much i adore a curious beginning. lots of unnecessary, redundant tidbits that really boggles me why Raybourn feel the need to do that. the mystery was a dragging, tedious affair. if not for the love i have for Veronica and Stoker i would have abandoned this book and the series altogether alas, i am still here, rooting for both of them to walk past their ghosts together. soon. i hope.

*4.5

Holy shit, I love this series. It is insanely fun and the characters are absolute perfection!

Lady Wellie made this entire book for me! Veronica and Stoker’s slow burn romance is killing me!

Ah, predictable, but I liked the humour

The "Not Like Other Girls" is still strong in this one! There's something magical about Veronica and Stoker's relationship that just works though, and I crave for more. The mystery wasn't as interesting to me as the first book. Overall, the good outweighs the bad, so I want to keep reading this series. Love the humor and sizzling sexual tension!

Loooooooved this book! I seriously find the character's back-and-forth hilarious. I need them to be together. Like now. I find this series to be highly entertaining. And I think the author does a fantastic job developing the characters without giving away their mysterious pasts! I have a spoiler-free review up on my blog!
