I like this series -- Jodi Taylor is good at creating magnetic characters. I'm still puzzling out the construction of these books, and still waiting for a dangling story line from book #2 to develop. Looking forward to reading the next dozen of these!

Still really liked this one but was a bit more long-winded than the previous ones in the series, and didn't love the characters as much... Max's way of handling some situations was just frustrating, and no offence to the 'great romance' she has with Leon but a man who calls his partner "bitch" for stopping him from doing sthg that might kill them both, I call that a toxic relationship. Not the first time he's acted in an extreme way, either.

I really cannot decide if I like this series or not. I get frustrated while reading it, but I also have to keep reading the series. Definitely not my favorite but the plot does keep you immersed.

I just can't get over these books. I love the humour in them one minute and then I am punched in the gut by emotions the next. And this one just blew me away. I still am not quite over that ending. I love this series and just find them a pleasure to read.
