I think this is my 3rd or 4th Longmire book. There's apparently been some developments between a couple of the characters since the last book I read (listened to, that is.) I was a little surprised by that, though I probably shouldn't be. Maybe was a little annoyed, because romances between male/female co-workers don't HAVE to happen. Srsly.

I found the plot on this one a little murkier than some, but I figured enough of it out. I like Longmire and his friend, Henry Standing Bear, kind of a lot, even though there's a bit of "magical Indian" there.

Craig Johnson writes really great endings, though. I liked this one.
