A Stranger in the Earth

Twenty two year old Horace Littlefair, an innocent abroad, launches himself into the world of local papers. But, underprepared and overdressed, he is plunged instead into a turbulent world of drugs, Scrabble and political intrigue. Threatened by disaster, and aidedby several unlikely friendships, Horace struggles to adapt, falls in love, and uncovers the sinister motives behind Barnaby Colefax's campaign to save the urban fox.
