After finally finding this book after misplacing it a few months ago I've completed it! I'm a big cat lover and when i received this book I was thrilled. Bob is such a smart, loving and clever cat that changed James life for the better in more ways then one.

Even though the book is very repetitive, it's a wonderful true story of life changing events all to a little ginger cat called bob. Although it's not very well written it pulled at my heart strings and made me fall in love with bob, I recommend this book to anyone who loves animals/cats it's a wonderful read.

For a cat to be your soulmate and best friend after everything he’s been through is so touching. Both of them deserved each other and I loved the happy ending.

Loved every second of this!!! I watched the movie straight after I finished and WOW, I can’t believe how a homeless man’s life was turned around by one orange cat. It was INSPIRATIONAL.

How I missed out on the Internet-famous Bob the Cat I do not know. I love all things cat; the algorithms should have found me by now. And while I'm late to the story, Bowen's story still reads fresh. He is many things: a street busker, a musician, a drug addict, occasionally homeless, alienated from his family and country. Somehow one day, young Bob the Cat appears at his doorstep. No simple angel, and in need of care himself, Bob eventually comes to save Bowen from himself. The book is a fine reminder of the challenges people face in life, the terrible power of addiction, and the healing power of love — if even from a cat. I felt transported to London, shown familiar squares and sights from the street angle, an observer of people and all their indifference, graciousness, cruelty, and care. 

There's a Christmas film now, too. Bob lived a fine life to the ripe cat age of 14 and passed away in 2020. I hope the power of his memory serves the author well.

A must to read for everyone who has a cat or is just an animalfriend. Gets you emotionally surprised how a man and a cat can have such connection!
