Rated 3-Stars This is a completion of Asian fairytale retellings/anthology. The retellings follow with the explanation of the origin of the story and the approach of the author's writing or choosing for retelling the story. This is by far my favorite anthology I've read so far. My favorite is The Counting of Vermillion Beads by Aliette De Bodard (based on Vietnamese folktale).
