A sweet, heartwarming and cutesy short story that works well for this season and now I feel all loved up ☺️.

So cute omg.
Too short though 😭😭
John and Holly would’ve been so good if we got more of them!!!

Yes yes yes!! Loved this cute little novella!! This proved that sometimes small acts of kindness can have the biggest impact!!

Super cute and love that there’s a deeper plot and character development in such a short time.

the meet-cute almost feels like a subplot in this! the overarching story deals with grief and loss - so i went from giggling to crying every other page :’)

3.5/5 Oh wow, it was actually good. I literally cried at one point, and it was sixty pages long. It turned out to be much more than just a short romance novella and I couldn't be more happier about it. “Take responsibility for your own unhappiness. If you don’t love your life, change it.”

cute fun romance! very gen z coded!

Time is such a precious thing. How you spend it, how you waste it. And it becomes even more valuable as the hour glass runs out, because you will never get more of it.

I think I’m addicted to these short romances, the connections seem so cute I cannot cope

This one hits you right in the feels. I was dang near crying the whole way through. I don’t know how Holly had the strength to be her grandma’s hospice nurse but I get it. I wouldn’t trust anyone with my loved ones either if I knew I was capable. And let me just say that Grandma is indeed a badass. I think I fell more in love with her than I did John and he is absolutely easy to fall for given his chivalry and handyman skills. He took a 🐝 sting taking out a nest to save the old ladies. What a guy!

Highlights

“Home Depot,” Jillian said.
“For?”
“To wander the aisles, looking confused.”
“Why would I—” I gave her a look. “I am not man-shopping at Home Depot.”
“She’s right, Holly. There’s lots of good men at hardware stores,” Grandma said.

This was a good place to die. It had good energy. Everything around my grandmother always did.
