This book was good! I really liked the story, and I’m definitely going to read the next one. 🫡

However, I personally feel like there could have been so much more to the story. There were a few moments where flashbacks could have really given me more of a sense of who the characters were. This book definitely has the potential to be a full-length fantasy novel, but it still managed to fit everything into a smaller book.

It definitely had its moments—the action, the magic, the descriptions—but it felt a little predictable at times, especially in the beginning.

It’s a very good story, though. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
