I'll admit, I wasn't looking forward to this. I felt that the first one was meh and drawn out, and then to find this was over 500 pages. Yeah. Not hyped. But, I was surprised. I overall liked it. There were a few moments of cringe/why does this sound like the main character is from our world plopped into another one?/Please for the love of all that is holy don't let this become a "my mate" every three seconds situation. The reveals were interesting and well-timed, and the characters were interesting and definitely were the highlight of the book for me.

I dont know where to begin. This book was so fullfilling! You start right where the first book leaves off. Reven and cain go rescue meren and the journey of a lifetime begins. Amulets must be found to take Eidolon down. We meet my favorite character Bene a scarey monster with the biggest heart and is just trying to release his love. There were many battles to be fought till the final battle where the most unspeakable things happen….. i wont give to much away. This book has you on the edge the entire time. I loved learning the most about the dominion and how it became. How the godesses created everything.
