Quite disappointed with this. Personally, I think the relationship between Aris and Blythe can be developed further. The switch from I hate you, I can't stand seeing you to SHE'S MY WIFE, I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER is a little too abrupt. The author can spend a little more time developing how they fall for each other. <br /><br />Also, why am I getting Beauty and the Beast vibes here? <br /><br />And the ending was kind of messy. I was lost for most parts and I'm hoping that there will be book 4 because there are so many unanswered questions.

It was fine. Mostly it was good for me to get out the compulsion to buy the UK editions for the really nice covers.

I can't believe I have finished this trilogy. So I won't lie, it had been a hot minute since I read Belladonna and Foxglove, so it took me a little bit to remember everything that did happen, but once we got into it, I was into it. This is a fun trilogy that is so fantasicial that you can't help but have a good time. I do think now that they are all released and reading them back-to-back-to-back, I'll enjoy them all way more. But I did like this a lot, and the characters' banter was also so good, the romance was also amazing. The end did feel a bit rushed after everything we have been through, but I still would recommend this trilogy for everyone to read.
