This is HANDS DOWN the worst story I’ve ever read. Throughout the book the only real indicator that this is a horror is the fact that it’s categorised as such. There was nothing remotely scary or even creepy about this story until the very end - and classing that was creepy is a stretch.

** SPOILERS COMING UP **

I actually didn’t really understand the ending. I don’t know whether I missed something, the book wasn’t well written or just completely went over my but I did have to look for an explanation and to be quite honest I wish I hadn’t. The ending is DISGUSTING. As someone who has struggled with mental health issues, and is still struggling, this angered me. I think it’s vile to be putting out a message like this out there. If I could unread this story I would happily do so.
