Undoctored The Story of a Medic Who Ran Out of Patients
In his most honest and incisive book yet, Adam Kay reflects on what's happened since hanging up his scrubs and examines a life inextricably bound up with medicine. Battered and bruised from his time on the NHS frontline, Kay looks back, moves forwards and opens up some old wounds. Hilarious and heartbreaking, horrifying and humbling, Undoctored is the astonishing portrait of a life by one of Britain's best-loved storytellers.

A follow on from the authors first book, This is Going to Hurt, picking up after he has left his career in medicine and follows him, establishing his career as a comedian and writer.
While I felt like I didn't enjoy this book as much as This is Going to Hurt, I felt it was a bit too much like Adam Kay was trying too hard to be funny. However, there were still moments that had me laughing out loud, and there was still that underlying heartfelt emotion that made his dark humour more impactful.

Adam Kay does it again! Another astonishing book to go with his others, bringing shock, horror and enough painful honesty to wake the dead. And of course it's all wrapped up in some of the most side-splitting humour you will ever see written down.
