this book is not really about satan. or anna b. it's about white grape slushies and moby dick. while the plot never really took off, and just kept winding around and around in circles without gaining any tension, the characters were interesting and seemed very real. the narrator had a lot of relatable moments that made the story enjoyable, though a little boring from the lack of a proper plot. overall, it's a pleasant and quick read, if you need a dash of satanism and high school angst in your life.
