So I won’t lie, I know like what this book will cover next but I’m scared of what it will do to me because the ending of this book ended so nicely. But I also won’t lie the journey to get there wasn’t easy. The two addictions that are covered in the book while I’m not fully educated on them but you felt a lot of emotions of what they were going through. It adds a lot to the book and you just fed this investment with the characters. I’m excited for what is next in the series from what we know because this has built all the characters flawlessly and am ready to hit through everything it will more than likely to do me.

I do not regret starting this series. I loved the dual POVs because you could tell how much love Lily and Lo have for each other. I loved seeing everything unfold. It was nice to see that the plot wasn't rushed, so we got to see their actual struggles of addiction as they go through it together unlike in the previous book (it focused on how they tried to heal individually). (view spoiler)[ I was so afraid that Lo would go back to his habits, and I'm so glad he managed to not fall back. I don't know if it's the same case in the next books, but I hope so. (hide spoiler)] You could really tell how much they love each other, and I'm so excited to see what's next in their relationship. Moreover, I also loved the mystery part of the book. Although I had my suspicious, it definitely kept me on my toes. I was so interested to know, and I was afraid we wouldn't get to know until the later books. (view spoiler)[I had a feeling it was going to be the mom, and I was right because all the other flings would have ratted them out since before if it was any of them (hide spoiler)] Additionally, I still LOVE Connor and Rose. I believe the next book will be about them, so I'm excited to see their story. They're still my favorite couple, and Ryke and Daisy are still making me uncomfortable. I know Daisy will be legal when they end up together, but it's still wrong...

I..am so freaking proud of Lily Calloway & Loren Hale. I know their story isn't over just yet..but still. My heart is filled with love & admiration for them. They've overcome so much together and apart. Lily Calloway deserves the world & more. I felt so bad for her when..that stuff happened. Lo & Lily's love is so..strong & unique. They are two of the most strongest characters I've ever met. I love them so.. freaking much, and I can't wait to continue their story.

I'll just pretend this was the closure of lily and lo's story. they finally got their happy ending by realizing they will always be with each other no matter what happens. I hope so at least.

I don't have any energy left for another 2 books to play with my emotions again. I love them and all but I chose my happiness <3

           I'm actually enjoying this story so much. 
I like that this story seems to take on the perspective of rich kids, and how some of them think they can't suffer, ask for help because they have « everything» so they shouldn't bitch about their problems, I think all characters have some sort of trauma with their parents, and I hate that their parents treat them the way they do. 
* Spoiler alert - ish?*
I did cry again in this book when Lu discovered that the reason why Lily developed her addiction is her relationship with her parents, it made me so sad, and in a way made me think of how your relationship with your family can hold so much power over you

I didn't like the scenes between Lily and her psychiatrist chosen by her parents, it made uncomfortable how Lily acted like what happened wasn't serious. 
Also, I HATE her mother. I hate the fact that her parents didn't even let her talk to them to explain.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this story ends!!

It is actually impossible for me to rate this book because the first 50% was excruciatingly painful for me to get through, but then the last half was so good it made me cry.

It took me TWO WHOLE MONTHS to read this book, and I normally finish books in one or two days. I could not for the life of me get into the story at first. I was just plain bored and did not understand the hype surrounding this series at all.

BUT THEN FINALLY we got to the group dynamic stuff and it all clicked. These 6 together make this series what it is. Watching their relationships with each other and how they protect/care for each other is everything.

Lily and Lo also grew on me towards the end of the book. I found the first two books about them pretty boring and have never been that invested in their relationship, but now that they're both growing and working on themselves, I'm much more interested in how this plays out.

The end of this story would probably be a solid 4 or 5 star read, but I can't ignore the fact that the first half dragged on and on to the point that I never wanted to pick this book back up. So I'm sticking with a 3 star rating, but I have high hopes for the remaining books in the series.

this on is definitely my favorite so far. it had a bit of everyone's relationships and lily and lo are both at a better place which is also nice. also. we had some mystery about who the leak was and i was right about the person being a woman since the beginning of the book and that made me feel good.

Best second (or third) book of a series.

Back to the point, though.  This. Book.  My, my quite the emotional punch.
Lily and Lo - still breathing hard at his last pov moment. My feels are killing me - struggle through recovery while the darkness that has always always shaded their life threatens them by playing the dirtiest card: exposing their, or rather specifically Lily's, addictions.
It wasn't the most complicated, Veronica Mars-ish mystery ever, true, but it was kinda hard to disconnect from.
And for the sake of every last fangirlish cell in mt body, the. FEELINGS.
Want more. NEED MORE.
