this story was such a ride, i felt so many emotions reading hani and ishus journey. most of it was anger, a lot of it was happiness, and some of it was sadness. i enjoyed this plot line and the progression of the characters throughout the story a good bit, although i would change just a few things personally! i wish i saw more of the cute moments between the two. overall though this was a great read and i recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a quick sapphic contemporary that discusses heavy topics alongside the romance. speaking of, definitely check out the trigger warnings before diving in (which are helpfully listed by the author on the dedication page)!!

This was like a warm hug! Teenish cute, if I could describe it like this, but also much more! The topics surrounding lgbtphobia (specially biphobia), racism and islamophobia, and the reality behind each home was (in my opinion) very realistic. But in general cute, lovely; like a comfort read. Something I needed to read! Loved also that it was really teenish. Not just characters that are allegedly teens but feel older. Loved this!
