Recommended for listeners of Serial podcast (season 1) and Undisclosed Podcast: The State Vs. Adnan Syed (season 1). If you haven't listened to any of these podcasts, you should at least listen to Serial before picking up this book; both podcasts are heavily referred to throughout the book. 

I was afraid that this would be a recount of everything that has been talked on the podcasts, without anything new. But I found Adnan's Story more structured, and in a way it was easier to follow the chronological order of everything. There's a lot of behind-the-scenes information that I wasn't aware of until I heard Rabia say it, and it all made sense. Overall, it was quite captivating!

I really wanted to rate this book higher. I have become a fan of a lot of Chaudry's work, specifically her podcasts, "Undisclosed" and "The 45th." 
Having already listened to both "Serial" and "Undisclosed," the book presented hardly any new information apart from a little behind the scenes information about her interactions with Sarah Koenig of "Serial" and a little about her own personal life. 
This book simply did not engage me in the way both podcasts did. Perhaps Adnan's story should be told in verbal form rather than in print?
I found this an easy and somewhat engaging book, just not engaging enough to earn four stars.

As a side note, the images interspersed throughout the book, much of it images of actual evidence, appeared much too small in the Kindle version to make out hardly any of the words. That is not a strike against Chaudry, rather simply the format.
